Another unfulfilled vision

On this blog I have on a number of occasions shown examples of things that were supposed to happen or be available in the future but never did or were.
Here’s another one. It’s a bit different since it concerns a new use for a giant Zeppelin, which were available in 1930 (that’s when the prediction was made). There may ven have been plans fo a craft like this one that were never realised after the Hindenburg desaster.
So, the flying hospital remainded a dream that today fits snuggly into the realm of Dieselpunk:

I am an anthropologist and in this capacity a minor scholar of the Cthulhu Mythos and H.P. Lovecraft. I am also quite obviously heavily into Steampunk and Dieselpunk and like travelling.
