A Steampunk Villain’s Dream

Aha! Here it is, the Clockwork-Spider.
I guess you could have thousands of these critters in a villains lair, doing his bidding, biting heros in the night, sending governesses up chairs and tables shrieking, you get the idea.
Additionally, the Clockwork-Spider is a beautiful work of art and a credit to its maker.

Yes, I am aware that there are only six legs, so technically, it is a Clockwork-Beetle, but “Spider” is so much more evil…
I am an anthropologist and in this capacity a minor scholar of the Cthulhu Mythos and H.P. Lovecraft. I am also quite obviously heavily into Steampunk and Dieselpunk and like travelling.
