July 8th, 1838, Ferdinand Adolf Heinrich August Graf von Zeppelin is born in Konstanz, Grand Duchy of Baden.

And as we all know, if it was not for him, one of the most iconic elements of Steampunk technology would not exist.
So today, we raise our glasses to Count Zeppelin!
I am an anthropologist and in this capacity a minor scholar of the Cthulhu Mythos and H.P. Lovecraft. I am also quite obviously heavily into Steampunk and Dieselpunk and like travelling.
