Ghostfire – More Great Music
Posted By Traveler on 19. September 2011
Admittedly, it is getting harder and harder to impress me when it comes to steampunk related music. After being honoured with reviewing such notable works like Steampowered Stories by The Cog is Dead and the works of Abney Park and Veronique Chevalier in general I am always a bit worried I could get my hands and ears on something garnering a less favourable review.
Well, this time my worries were once again unfounded.
And this is all I am going to say for now. I got my hands on Ghostfire’s debut album The Tydburn Jig through the Gatehouse Gazette and it would be grossly unfair to publish the full review here and not in the Gatehouse Gazette. This of course means it will be another six weeks until the review is published but it will be a favourable one. In the meantime, here is the video for my second favourite track on the album: Vaudevillain
Well, that is all for now, I still have my very special rat (and I am actually talking about a female member of Rattus norvegicus here) to attend to.

Awesome! I just did a blog post today about steampunk in music videos. Next time I explore the topic I’ll definitely have to include Ghostfire.
Great! And I just checked out your blog. Cloudbusting, I remember watching it on MTV in the ’80s…
