All Quiet in the Living Room

Yesterday, Luna, the last of our rats, went to join the others.

The picture above is almost exactly a year old. Luna passed away at the ripe old age of about two and a half years. We do not know how old she was exactly, she was a rescue-rat. The living room is now awfully quiet. You never notice how much noise a rustling rat makes, until the noise is gone.
We miss her and catch ourselves passing the cage looking for her. Well, now she is running about in Rathalla with her sisters and surrogate mother Grace.
I am an anthropologist and in this capacity a minor scholar of the Cthulhu Mythos and H.P. Lovecraft. I am also quite obviously heavily into Steampunk and Dieselpunk and like travelling.
