Today in 1787, Louis Daguerre, renowned French artist and physicist was born. He was a pioneer in the filed of photography and invented the technique bearing his name and which is well loved by Steampunks across the globe.
So, today raise your glasses in memory of Louis Daguerre.
I am an anthropologist and in this capacity a minor scholar of the Cthulhu Mythos and H.P. Lovecraft. I am also quite obviously heavily into Steampunk and Dieselpunk and like travelling.
